With a proud history dating back to October 2008, Vortex Distribution Ltd has firmly established itself as Europe's leading trade supplier of Hot Tub parts. Originally founded as Spafix Direct, an eCommerce store catering to retail customers, our journey commenced with a mission to provide quality hot tub parts. Fuelled by an unwavering commitment to quality and service, we swiftly expanded our operations to meet the surging demand from trade professionals.

To date, we boast over 2000 active trade accounts spanning the UK and Europe, a testament to the trust and confidence we've earned within the industry. Since our inception in 2008, we've proudly catered to the trade community, offering a comprehensive selection of top-quality hot tub parts tailored to their specific requirements. 

What truly distinguishes us from other hot tub and spa spare parts suppliers is our unwavering commitment to wholesale distribution. In 2014, we strategically pivoted to focus exclusively on trade customers, ensuring our valued partners receive our undivided attention. Our journey has been marked by significant milestones. From the introduction of our multilingual website in 2010 to our expansion into the Benelux region in 2013, we have consistently pursued growth opportunities to elevate customer service. In July 2014, we proudly unveiled our new identity as Vortex Distribution Ltd, reaffirming our commitment to becoming the preferred destination for trade professionals seeking top-quality Hot Tub parts. As of 2023, we collaborate with established distributors in over nine countries while directly serving many others.

About our MD and our staff

With a rich background in the industry, our Managing Director, Darren Waters, began his journey in 2001 at Spaform. In 2004, he co-founded a successful service and repair business, which operated until 2007 when the foundation for this company was formed.

Over the years, our team has accumulated extensive knowledge through hands-on experience in the field and participation in various manufacturer training courses. This unrivalled expertise positions us as the ultimate destination for locating Hot Tub parts, as we have likely worked on the same tub models ourselves in the past. 

This experience has also allowed us to develop and design a number of innovative products. In 2020, Earth Spas, our brand of hot tubs, made its official debut in the UK shortly before the onset of the COVID pandemic. Despite the challenging circumstances, our venture experienced instant success, achieving sales of more than 1,000 units annually during the initial two years of trading. Within just two years, Earth Spas had firmly established its presence in both France and Belgium, facilitated by the appointment of dedicated distributors in each region.

Similarly, as of 2022, we proudly launched the comprehensive VIAN heat pump range, garnering attention as a standout feature at the prestigious Spatex event. Small, compact, and discreet, our range is designed to create an energy-efficient alternative for heating hot tubs and swim spas. Combining our industry knowledge alongside real-world testing, our air source heat pumps can be up to 75% more energy efficient than standard heating options, with some customers seeing a return on investment in just one and a half years.

One thing that remains paramount within all of our decisions is our passion for improving the energy efficiency of the hot tub industry. This vision has led to the creation of the Earth Spas brand and inspired us to develop our VIAN Heat Pump range. We continually strive to aid in improving the environmental impact of the hot tub industry, whether through innovative inventions, funding research or working alongside charity projects.
